Data Science refers to extraction of knowledge from large volumes of data

The objective of this program is to make Data Scientists and not the Data Analyst.

Data Analytics seeks to provide operational observations into issues that we either know we know or know we don’t know. Whereas the goal of Data Science is to provide strategic insights into the world where we don’t know what we don’t know. For example, trying to identify a future technology that doesn’t exist today, but will have the most impact on an organization in the future. Predictive Analytics, Prescriptive Analytics, and Machine Learning are three primary means through which actionable insights can be found. Thus Data Analytics more focuses on operations and Data Science into Strategy building.

This Data Science Bootcamp Program will enable you to learn about Data Science Introduction, Data Science Overview, Data Science life cycle and Statistical Methods. You will interact with R-Language to complete the course. You will learn the basics of R programming and will apply the Knowledge in various areas such as string manipulation, import/export data. We will also cover elementary statistics using R. It will be a hands-on training Program.

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate their quantitative aptitude including basic & advance statistics, probability, linear algebra, and mathematics. We also expect applicants must possess knowledge of at least one programming language. Common profiles include graduate, post-graduate in statistics, mathematics, data analysis, or the quantitative sciences with 55% aggregate throughout academics. It includes –

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Quantitative subject (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Technology) from reputed University with 50% aggregate
  • Highly recommended for candidates looking for jobs which require data handling – Research/Analytics/Big Data/ Business Intelligence etc.
  • Applicants are pre-selected based on candidate’s degree level, and skills. Final admission is granted following a personal interview

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?

Step 1: After receiving application, we will schedule a written aptitude test to measure your quantitative and programming skills. It includes several statistical, programming questions.
Interview with one of our instructor. This will allow us to know each other. We will also come to know your objective in attending this course.
Step 3: Last and final interview is conducted by other instructor where we will judge your statistics, probability, linear algebra and your approach to a data science problem.
Step 4: In final step you will get the written communication and course commencing date from Dataedify team.

HOW MUCH I HAVE TO PAY TO ATTEND THIS COURSE

For three months course cost is 50,000 INR. This will include all logistics needed to attend the course. To secure your spot a deposit of 10,000 INR is required within 7 days of acceptance. After making the deposit students will have the option to make remaining payment through two equal monthly installments.
